Belarus, Kazakhstan sign ministerial cooperation plan for 2023-2024

MINSK, 20 April (BelTA) – Astana played host to another round of Belarus-Kazakhstan ministerial consultations, BelTA learned from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The Belarusian delegation was headed by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Igor Nazaruk, the Kazakh delegation was led by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Yermukhambet Konuspayev. The event reviewed the state and prospects for the development of Belarus-Kazakhstan cooperation across a wide range of issues and identified the key areas for expanding bilateral cooperation.

Special consideration was given to ways of deepening cooperation between Belarus and Kazakhstan in the integration associations (CIS, EAEU, CSTO, SCO) and in international organizations (UN and OSCE).

The parties hailed the progressive development of the Belarus-Kazakhstan dialogue, consistent expansion of diverse ties and mutually beneficial trade and economic cooperation.

The parties reaffirmed commitment to developing ministerial cooperation and signed the Belarus-Kazakhstan ministerial cooperation plan for 2023-2024.
