
MINSK, 22 December (BelTA) – Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergei Aleinik met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of India Alok Ranjan Jha on 22 December, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The parties discussed topical issues of Belarusian-Indian relations and cooperation within the framework of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in view of India's presidency in the SCO.
“The parties paid special attention to the progress made in the implementation of the agreements made at the 11th session of Belarusian-Indian Intergovernmental Commission aimed at further expansion of cooperation in trade, economy, science, technology and culture. The parties confirmed their mutual interest in intensifying cooperation between Belarus and India at various levels,” the ministry said.
