Belarus hopes for further development of relations with Croatia

MINSK, 16 January (BelTA) - Belarus hopes for the further progressive development of relations with Croatia, Belarus' Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Oleg Kravchenko said as he met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Croatia to Belarus Tonci Stanicic, BelTA learned from the press service of the ministry.

The sides discussed the status and prospects for the development of the Belarusian-Croatian cooperation in trade, economic, investment, culture, and the ways of expanding the legal framework of bilateral interaction.

As it was reported, Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko received credentials of ambassadors of 12 states, including Croatia. The head of state stressed that Belarus is prepared to expand the entire range of relations with Croatia. “It is essential for the business circles of the two countries to join efforts to boost bilateral trade and investment cooperation. The two countries have a necessary potential for it,” the Belarusian leader said.
