Belarus' honorary consulate opens in Poland's Katowice

MINSK, 7 March (BelTA) – Belarus' honorary consulate has started working in Poland's Katowice. It is headed by Marek Rasinski who received the necessary documents and paraphernalia from Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Poland Alexander Averianov in a solemn ceremony on 6 March, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Embassy in Poland.

Attending the ceremony were ambassadors of foreign states accredited in Poland, MPs and government officials, local authorities and heads of offices of Belarusian companies in Poland.

“Marek Rasinski's consular district will include Lesser Poland Voivodeship, Silesian Voivodeship and Opole Voivodeship,” the embassy informed. The Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Belarus is located at 29 Graniczna Street.
