
MOSCOW, 17 May (BelTA) - The Belarus-Russia Union State programs are 80% complete, Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergei Aleinik told the media following the talks with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov in Moscow on 17 May, BelTA has learned.
“The Ministries of Foreign Affairs are actively involved in the implementation of the Union State programs and provide diplomatic support to the process. These programs are already almost 80% complete,” Sergei Aleinik said. He stressed that all this work brings a tangible positive result for both citizens and business communities of the two countries.

Following the talks, the ministers signed a statement on common foreign policy priorities. The document expresses a common aspiration to further develop relations of alliance and strategic partnership, to create conditions for deepening allied integration, interaction in the international arena and promotion of joint priorities in it.
