MINSK, 16 November (BelTA) – An estimated 27.5% of voters turned out during the four days of early voting ahead of the 17 November parliamentary elections in Belarus, the Central Election Commission (CEC) of Belarus said on its BelTA has learned.
According to the CEC, 26.14% of voters cast their ballots in Brest Oblast, 29.43% in Vitebsk Oblast, 29.96% in Gomel Oblast, 27.24% in Grodno Oblast, 28.65% in Minsk Oblast, 29.48% in Mogilev Oblast. Turnout in Minsk made up 23.05%.
The voter register includes almost 6.9 million citizens.
Early voting kicked off on 12 November to last through 16 November.
