Belarus, Dominican Republic discuss product deliveries

MINSK, 26 May (BelTA) – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Cuba and the Dominican Republic concurrently Valery Baranovsky has met with Minister of Commerce, Industry, and SMEs of the Dominican Republic Victor Bisonó Haza on 24 May, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The parties discussed possibilities to increase trade. “They noted that a number of goods made in the two countries can be of interest to the other country. An agreement was reached to maintain contacts in order to launch deliveries of these products,” the ministry informed.

On the same day the Belarusian ambassador met with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Dominican Republic Roberto Álvarez Gil. The parties discussed plans to strengthen Belarus-Dominican Republic cooperation in a bilateral format and within the framework of international organizations. Particular attention was paid to the development of the legal framework.
