MINSK, 26 April (BelTA) – Belarus' Defense Minister Viktor Khrenin will take part in a session of the Defense Ministers Council of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) due in Dushanbe on 27 April, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Defense Ministry.
Taking part in the session will be the defense ministers of the CSTO member states and CSTO Secretary General Stanislav Zas. The participants will discuss military issues, exchange opinions on challenges and threats to military security of the CSTO member states and appropriate response measures.
The CSTO defense ministers are expected to adopt decisions aimed at working out common approaches and mechanisms in advancing military cooperation in the CSTO.
