MINSK, 31 March (BelTA) - The procedure to draft the most important legal acts has been defined in Belarus. The appropriate Council of Ministers' decree No.183 of 30 March 2020 was officially published on the National Legal Internet Portal on 31 March, BelTA has learned.
The document stipulates that the prime minister's instructions for the prompt preparation of draft legal acts shall be immediately communicated by the Office of the Council of Ministers or heads of its structural subdivisions to the head of the Council of Ministers, responsible for the preparation and submission of the draft document to the Council of Ministers (regulatory body), as well as heads of other government agencies and other organizations and shall be implemented within five days, unless otherwise specified by the head of the Belarusian government.
The heads of government bodies shall ensure that proposals on the substance of the matter requiring settlement are submitted to the legislative body within the time limit not exceeding one third of the time limit for the fulfillment of the assignment.
The resolution was adopted to ensure prompt preparation of draft legal acts aimed at minimizing the impact of the world crisis phenomena on the country's economy and comes into force from the date of its official publication.
