The deputy minister expressed hope that Romania will continue to support the Eastern Partnership initiative. “Next year we will celebrate the 10th anniversary of this EU project, and together define goals for the next 10 years. Belarus considers the Eastern Partnership an important and potentially useful project. We have already started preliminary consultations with the Romanian counterparts ahead of the chairmanship and look forward to active cooperation in the first half of next year,” he noted.

Oleg Kravchenko called Romania's position on Belarusian-European relations as responsible and constructive. As for Belarusian-Romanian contacts, joint efforts helped the two countries achieve significant progress in the development of political, economic, inter-parliamentary, interregional dialogue. The two states continue expanding relations in the cultural and humanitarian sectors. A close dialogue between the ministries of foreign affairs of the two countries is effective as well.

The country develops full-fledged relations in the international arena, cooperates with other states. In recent years, contacts with Belarus have been developing most intensively.
