Belarus, China discuss development of integrated joint action roadmap

MINSK, 18 September (BelTA) – Belarusian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Andrei Dapkiunas has met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of China to Belarus Cui Qiming, the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs told BelTA.

Andrei Dapkiunas and Cui Qiming thoroughly discussed matters of Belarus-China political and humanitarian cooperation, some practical aspects of Belarus-China interaction in international organizations, and exchanged opinions about topical items on the international agenda.

The deputy minister of foreign affairs drew the ambassador's attention to the fact that Minsk will host another conference Minsk Dialogue on 7-9 October. Representatives of China have been invited to participate in it. Andrei Dapkiunas noted that the informal discussion format of the conference in addition to official contacts offers a useful platform for working out effective decisions on pressing issues of regional and world politics.

In the context of work of the Belarus-China intergovernmental cooperation committee the sides discussed progress in preparing and reconciling an integrated roadmap of the joint actions Belarus and China are supposed to take in the near future.
