Belarus' approach to military security presented at OSCE dialogue on military doctrines

MINSK, 10 April (BelTA) – A Belarusian delegation led by Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, Chief of the Main Operations Directorate Pavel Muraveiko took part in the OSCE Intersessional Dialogue on Military Doctrines in Vienna on 8-9 April, the press service of the Belarusian Defense Ministry told BelTA.

Pavel Muraveiko outlined the national approach to ensuring military security as stipulated by the Military Doctrine of Belarus and their implementation in the course of Belarusian army exercises.

Experts of the defense ministries and the ministries of foreign affairs of OSCE member states, international organizations (NATO, the European Union, and other ones), representatives of other security and defense bodies took part in the OSCE Intersessional Dialogue on Military Doctrines. Among other things the dialogue touched upon strategic limits of the modern defense policy, the impact of technologies on warfare, and the reflection of military doctrines in scenarios of military exercises.

The Belarusian delegation also included representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and representatives of Belarus' permanent mission to the OSCE.
