Belarus ambassador to present credentials to Russian president on 3 July

MOSCOW, 2 July (BelTA) – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Russia Vladimir Semashko will present his credentials to Russian President Vladimir Putin on 3 July, BelTA learned from the press service of the Kremlin.

Traditionally, the ceremony is held in the Alexander Hall of the Grand Kremlin Palace.

The ceremony will feature another 17 new ambassadors of foreign countries to Russia: Brazil, Congo, Sierra Leone, Ethiopia, Nicaragua, Turkey, Croatia, Kyrgyzstan, Namibia, Mauritania, Afghanistan, Greece, the Republic of Korea, Costa Rica, Cyprus, Seychelles and Botswana.

As a rule, the credentials ceremony in Russia are conducted not more than 2 or 3 times a year.
