Belarus' ambassador presents credentials to Moldova president

MINSK, 21 May (BelTA) – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Moldova Anatoly Kalinin has presented his credentials to Moldova President Igor Dodon, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Following the official ceremony, the parties discussed the Belarusian-Moldovan relations, pointing out its momentum and the mutual interest in advancing cooperation in the bilateral and multilateral formats. “Trade and economic cooperation was named a priority area in the Belarusian-Moldovan cooperation,” the press service said.

Igor Dodon and Anatoly Kalinin also exchanged opinions on the countries' response to the coronavirus pandemic.
