Belarus ambassador presents credentials to Emmanuel Macron

MINSK, 15 April (BelTA) – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to France Igor Fisenko has presented his credentials to France President Emmanuel Macron. The ceremony took place in the Elysee Palace on 12 April, BelTA learned from the Belarusian embassy in France.

The Belarusian diplomat and the French president exchanged opinions on the state and prospects of bilateral relations, and also Belarus' and France's views on the issues of the international agenda. The parties highlighted security and environment as the priority matters for the further multilateral cooperation.

Special attention was attached to bilateral cooperation, including interregional interaction.
