MINSK, 21 February (BelTA) – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Ecuador Nikolai Ovsyanko presented his credentials to Ecuador President Lenin Moreno on 20 February, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
“The parties discussed the prospects to build up contacts between the two countries, including the development of intergovernmental dialogue and the expansion of trade and economic cooperation,” the ministry said.
The president of Ecuador hailed Belarusian farming machinery, including Belarus tractors, and stressed the interest in developing cooperation in IT, industry and services.
