MINSK, 11 June (BelTA) - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to Japan and concurrently to the Commonwealth of Australia Ruslan Yesin has presented copy of credentials to Australia Governor-General Peter Cosgrove, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
During the meeting, the parties confirmed mutual interest in strengthening Belarus-Australia relations and also exchanged views on important issues on the international agenda.
Ruslan Yesin was appointed ambassador of Belarus to Australia with concurrent accreditation in February 2019.
