MINSK, 20 July (BelTA) – The political relations between Belarus and the European Union have not reached rock bottom yet, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Netherlands Andrei Yeudachenka told journalists, BelTA has learned.
“The situation is difficult. We are engaged in a very difficult political dialogue with our European partners. To be honest, we are not always on the same page. However, our relations have not hit rock bottom yet,” Andrei Yeudachenka said.
The EU-Belarus trade and economic relations continue developing despite the pandemic and sanctions, the ambassador noted. “Belarus' trade with the EU has increased by $1.9 billion this year. I am happy that the Netherlands accounted for almost 40% of that,” he added.
