An exhibition of works of the Gusevichi weaving center opened in the Gomel Oblast Folk Art Center on 13 February. The exhibition displays towels, belts, napkins, bags, cases, souvenirs made in the ancient loom weaving technique. This is one of the oldest techniques for fabric ornamentation and decoration of items for everyday use and rituals. The exhibition also showcases items from straw and a tabletop puppet theater.
