The solar power facility Plamya with the capacity of 1.6MW was commissioned near the village of Malaya Perespa in Senno District on 1 July.
The solar farm consists of 4,752 solar panels and occupies three hectares. The Senno District Executive Committee launched the investment project in 2016. The committee allocated a site and then found the investor. A private company attracted Swiss sponsors, got the quota, and will produce solar power. The project cost over $1 million and is expected to pay off in 8-10 years.
