Six medals for Belarus at Zhautykov Olympiad in Kazakhstan

Students of Vitebsk gymnasiums snatched six medals at the 17th International Zhautykov Olympiad in computer science. The event was running online on 8-13 January, hosted from Almaty (Kazakhstan). The Olympiad brought together 295 school students from 18 countries.

Students of Veronika Laktina, informatics teacher at Vitebsk Gymnasium No.1 and Gymnasium No.8, took medals at the competition. Silver medals were awarded to Mikalai Navitski, Kanstantsin Smirnov, and Yahor Tsilihuzau from Gymnasium No.1 as well as to Darya Hnedzko and Tsimafei Baliukonis from Gymnasium No.8. Uladzislau Adamenka from Gymnasium No.1 won a bronze medal.
