A sculpture of Saint Hubert will be unveiled in Grodno ahead of the 13th edition of the Festival of National Cultures. The sculpture is being made by Vladimir Panteleyev, a famous sculptor from Grodno.
The 3m-high monument will stand on a granite column.
Saint Hubert is a Roman Catholic saint who lived in France in the 7th-8th centuries. He is a patron saint of hunters, fishers, and foresters. Saint Hubert's deer is pictured on the coat of arms of Grodno and is one of the symbols of the city.
