A permanent museum exhibition was opened in Fort No. 5 of Brest Fortress on 19 January.
The fort was closed to the public in the middle of last summer. During these six months, specialists restored the left part of the barracks, cleaned the walls and facades, replaced windows and doors, laid down engineering networks. Meanwhile, museum staff were putting up a historical exhibition.
