NUCLEAR POWER IN BELARUS AND WORLDWIDE
On the day of memory of St. Euphrosyne of Polotsk, pilgrims from all over Belarus gathered in the ancient town of Polotsk where the patron saint of Belarus was born and served in the convent. After the Divine Liturgy led by Metropolitan Veniamin of Minsk and Zaslavl, Patriarchal Exarch of All Belarus, a religious procession set out from St. Sophia Cathedral to the Savior and St. Euphrosyne Convent. Along the way, its participants stopped at the monument to St. Euphrosyne of Polotsk to lay flowers. Taking part in the procession were pilgrims, parishioners, local residents and visitors of Polotsk, representatives of the regional and district authorities.
