Minsk Wheel Tractor Plant is celebrating its anniversary this year. On 23 July 1954 a special design engineering bureau was set up at Minsk Automobile Plant to develop heavy and superheavy vehicles for the needs of the army. The bureau became a founder of Minsk Wheel Tractor Plant. Today, the plant is one of the world's leading companies specializing in the production of special wheeled chassis and tractor trucks.
