The sixth meeting of the Belarusian-Chinese intergovernmental cooperation committee was held in Minsk. Following the sixth meeting of the intergovernmental committee, four documents were signed: the protocol of the sixth meeting of the Belarus-China intergovernmental cooperation committee, a protocol on amendments to the agreement on the establishment of the committee between the governments of Belarus and China, a memorandum of understanding on strengthening investment cooperation in the digital economy between the Belarusian Economy Ministry, the Belarusian Communications and Informatization Ministry and the Chinese Commerce Ministry, as well as a protocol of the commission of the Belarusian State Committee for Science and Technology and the Chinese Science and Technology Ministry on defining flagship projects for 2025-2026. The protocol of the intergovernmental committee meeting formalized the intention to declare 2026-2027 as thematic years of industrial cooperation in Belarus-China relations.
