Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko participated in the nationwide cleanup day in Belarus on 25 April and planted trees in the Pripyatsky National Park.
Every April the head of state visits Chernobyl-hit regions. A lot of attention is paid to the revival of these lands in Belarus. This year the president's trip coincided with the national cleanup day. The president's team planted 8,000 pines in the Pripyatsky National Park.
