Koziell Poklewski Estate in Zhlobin District

One of the most beautiful palaces of Belarus is situated in the village of Krasny Bereg, Zhlobin District. Among the owners of the estate were participants of the uprisings of 1825 and 1863. In the 1880s the estate was purchased by Lieutenant General Gatovsky who gave it to his daughter Maria as a dowry. Her husband Wikientij Koziell Poklewski invited a famous European architect to work on the palace and Warsaw Chief Municipal Gardener Franciszek Szanior to design the park.

In late December 2018 the palace will mark its 125th anniversary. The reconstruction of the palace was held under the state program Castles of Belarus. Today, all 36 rooms of the estate are open to the public.
