Italian biker on European motocross to help children of Chernobyl

36-year-old Italian Alessandro Pozzi is taking part in motocross to raise money for Chernobyl children on his 1962 Vespa scooter. The race, which started in Italy's Parma, makes up 8,600km through 15 European countries to end in Belarus' Gomel. To meet the timetable Alessandro has to drive 12-15 hours per day. The collected funds will go to the Italian charity organization Help for Children Parma and then will be distributed among rural schools, hospitals and specialized institutions providing services to children from the Chernobyl zones.
