The local biological reserve “Grodno Svisloch” with a total area of 2,317 hectares has been set up in Berestovitsa District on the floodplain of the Svisloch River. Most of the riverland is in its natural state. The reserve has been created to preserve great egret, the endangered species listed in the Red Book of the Republic of Belarus.
