Chairman of the Council of the Republic Mikhail Myasnikovich laid flowers at the Eternal Flame in Brest Fortress on 27 July to mark the 75th anniversary of the city's liberation from the Nazis. Attending the ceremony were the authorities of Brest and Brest Oblast, MPs, war veterans, representatives of diplomatic missions, and public organizations.
