Former military man Aleksei Chistyakov from Lida has collected bricks for more than ten years. His collection includes 705 bricks that weigh a total of over 3.5 tonnes. Some items are quite unusual, with paw prints on the surface or coins inside.
Aleksei Chistyakov's collection features bricks from Russia, Ukraine, the UK, Sweden, the USA, and other countries. The oldest brick dates back to the 16th century.
In May 2017, the Lida District Executive Committee allocated a room for Aleksei Chistyakov's collection in the regional tourism and local history center.
