A new school opened in a densely-populated district Borovki in the Belarusian city Baranovichi on 1 September.
School No.1, named after twice Hero of the Soviet Union Sergei Gritsivets, was built in about a year. The new school is the biggest one in the city. A total of 1,700 children will study there in a new academic year. Almost every sixth of them is a first-grader.
