Beekeepers in Gomel Oblast are inspecting their hives after the winter. Bees are expected to fly out for the first time in March when hazel is in full bloom in the region.
Nikolai Belkovich, who will celebrate his 70th anniversary this year, is about to open his 30th season as a beekeeper.
