Belarus' first rehabilitation center for bats Kazhanapolis operates in Minsk. The project was initiated by the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus and the APB BirdLife Belarus public organization with assistance of the National Center for Environment and Local History. Refrigerators of the rehabilitation center have hosted bats for the second winter. There are currently 45 bats of various species in the center. They are brought there from various parts of Belarus and let out in Chelyuskintsev Park in early April.
