ISTANBUL, 2 May (BelTA - Anadolu Agensy). - Türkiye's premiere technology and aviation event TEKNOFEST made a strong impression with various airshows that included planes, helicopters and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).
Opening last Thursday, the five-day event hosted domestic and foreign aircraft and air show teams at Istanbul's Ataturk Airport.
Turkish Akinci, Bayraktar TB2 and Aksungur/Anka UAVs, Kizilelma unmanned fighter jet, Hurkus indigenous aircraft trainer and Atak and Gokbey indigenous helicopters were showcased at the event.
Turkish air show teams SoloTurk and Turk Yildizlari and Turkish Armed Forces F-16 planes and gendarme teams as well as the Fursan al Emarat aerobatic display team from the United Arab Emirates and Morocco Air Force team put on dozens of shows.
The event was organized by the T3 Foundation and the Turkish Industry and Technology Ministry.
