Iran's top table tennis player moves up 10 places in ITTF ranking to 54th

TEHRAN, 5 April (BelTA - IRNA). - The International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) has announced its Men's World Table Tennis Ranking of April 2023 in which Noshad Alamiyan, Iran's top table tennis player, has moved up 10 places to 54th in the ranking.

The ranking released on Tuesday showed that Noshad Alamiyan had improved his position among top international tennis players after shining in Singapore Smash 2023 last month.

Amir-Hossein Hodaei, another Iranian table tennis player who won a bronze medal in the WTT Feeder Antalya 2023, moved up 27 places in the ITTF ranking to 106th.

However, Noshad's brother Nima Alamiyan moved down 18 places to 186th in the ranking while Amin Ahmadian, moved down one place 199th.

The top Iranian female tennis player in the latest ITTF ranking was Elina Rahimi who moved up 38 places to 306th in the ranking.
