Endowments: Holy Ramadan 2023 to begin in Syria on Thursday

DAMASCUS, 22 March (BelTA - SANA). - Fiqh Scientific Council at the Ministry of Endowments anounced on Tuesday evening that Thursday March 23rd ,2023 ,will be the first day Ramadan.

The crescent moon marking the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan was not sighted today in the country, thus Muslims in Syria will be observing Ramadan on Thursday, as it is the first day of the holy month, the according to the council.
