NUCLEAR POWER IN BELARUS AND WORLDWIDE
It is time to raise the role of political parties in Belarus, Vasily Zadnepryany, Chairman of the Republican Labor and Justice Party (RPTS), said on 17 March.
“Political parties have been downplayed for a long time. It is time to raise their role. We know that in any civil society political parties are the engine,” said Vasily Zadnepryany.
The party's leader noted that it is time for development, including through trial and error. The politician noted that during the presidential election in 2015 the Republican Labor and Justice Party nominated more representatives to election commissions. The party was as active during the nomination of observers. “You know that we also have our representatives in the parliament. We are not going to step down our efforts. We are going to continue stepping them up,” said Vasily Zadnepryany. He also confirmed that the party will take part in the parliamentary elections, which are expected to take place this year.
