State support for the youth has always been among Belarus' priorities, Belarus Deputy Education Minister Aleksandr Kadlubai told BelTA.
“State support for the youth has always been a priority. Creating conditions for education and professional, scientific, and creative growth of young people is the most reliable investment in the progress and development of the society. There are many avenues of work in this area. We communicate with the youth through various dialogue platforms. This helps us find out about their priorities, choose the most important ones and plan our activities in the development of the youth policy in the near future,” Aleksandr Kadlubai said.
According to him, a dialogue with the youth is a continuous process that involves all branches of power and the parliament. “We should not forsake it. The dialogue should be continuous and constructive,” he noted. “Everybody is welcome to share their visions of the country's future development. We constantly receive such ideas. For example, young people put forward ideas about the amendments to the Constitution, support for young families, education, employment, promotion of a healthy lifestyle, and other matters. Moreover, there are various online platforms offering young people to share their proposals. It is important that the youth are ready not only to come up with ideas, but also to put them into practice,” Aleksandr Kadlubai added.
