It is inadmissible for Belarus' future to become a hostage of somebody's ambitions and selfish aspirations, Chairman of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus Vladimir Andreichenko said in an interview to the SB. Belarus Segodnya newspaper, BelTA has learned.
Speaking about the current situation, the head of the House of Representatives said that all the political forces and public organizations need to demonstrate a responsible attitude. “It is in the interests of each of us, in the interests of the country's further development. It is inadmissible for the future of the Belarusian state to become a hostage of someone's ambitions and selfish aspirations. The main thing for us is to preserve the economy, manufacturing, jobs, peace and tranquility in the society,” he stressed.
According to Vladimir Andreichenko, in recent years the country has seen a lot of good transformations in various areas. They are the result of common work, initiative and balanced, accurate management decisions. “With all the problems that exist today, you cannot ignore, destroy what has been achieved and chase the mirages proposed by someone. Not by external promises, but only by our own forces and efforts, skills and talents, will we be able to multiply the achievements of the country,” the speaker said.
The youth policy becomes crucial in many ways, especially in the implementation of promising economic, social, educational, scientific, cultural and other projects and programs. “In this sense, we have a very significant public and state resource in the face of hardworking, educated, intelligent young people, responsible citizens of Belarus. We can use its colossal opportunities only on a wave of positive moods. It is necessary to know the demands in different segments of the youth environment in the context of society's demands and to respond to them competently,” the chairman of the House of Representatives said.
“The recent electoral campaign showed that people want the state to remain socially just and an ordinary person with his/her everyday worries and needs to be in the center of the state policy. The parliament will continue focusing its attention on the matter,” he said. The work of the House of Representatives in constituencies, with the public is first of all aimed at the search for ways to solve people's concrete problems. Mechanisms to establish feedback with the society will be made even more mobile and effective, Vladimir Andreichenko added.
