The Dinamo Stadium in Minsk impresses with its scale and atmosphere, European Games Executive Director Simon Clegg told BelTA.
He noted that Minsk managed to dramatically upgrade the sports arena within a compressed timescale. “The Dinamo Stadium in Minsk impresses with its scale and atmosphere. I believe we will be able to hold an amazing opening ceremony for the 2nd European Games and athletics competitions,” Simon Clegg said.
He emphasized that a year ahead the start of the 2nd European Games, Belarus is well geared up for running such a large-scale sports event. “The organizing committee has done a great job. However, we all still have a year before the start of the European Games. I am convinced that we will be able to achieve even more impressive results over this time,” Simon Clegg noted.
In his words, the forthcoming 2nd European Games MINSK 2019 will be different from the 2015 European Games in Baku. Anyways, fans will not be disappointed.
