NUCLEAR POWER IN BELARUS AND WORLDWIDE
Country's political image is important for investors, Valery Voronetsky, the Chairman of Permanent Commission on International Affairs of the House of Representatives of Belarus, during the meeting with young members of the Belaya Rus public association on 11 February, BelTA has learned.
"If a state has a very good image, if it has credibility, an investor will pay attention to this country and will begin analyzing its legislation and possibilities,” underlined Valery Voronetsky. Belarus is a country of rich history, traditions, enormous opportunities and potential.
The MP is sure that in order to achieve economic benefits, ensure better well-being and political development, the state should hold international conferences, big international events and workshops, invite high-level delegations. Valery Voronetsky emphasized special importance of peacekeeping efforts of Belarus in the settlement of the Ukrainian conflict.
Valery Voronetsky said that the art of diplomacy, including the parliamentary one, can contribute to the country's international authority.
During the meeting the parties discussed major trends in modern political alliances, risks and perspectives of foreign-policy and economic relations of Belarus and the role of public associations in the work of national legislature and international organizations.
Meetings with scientists and famous public and political figures have become a good tradition of Belaya Rus.
