Men account for 46.2% of the population in Belarus (4,351,500)*.

Brest Oblast - 14.4%

Vitebsk Oblast - 12%

Gomel Oblast - 14.7%

Grodno Oblast – 10.9%

Minsk Oblast - 15.8%

Mogilev Oblast - 11%

Minsk city - 21.2%.

Average employment rate for working-age men** – 82.1%.

Average working age – 41 years.

A quarter of men in Belarus' workforce are 16-30 years old.

Male-dominated industries:

construction, transport, warehousing, delivery, agriculture, forestry and fishery, manufacturing, information and communications.

All Belarusian industries have male employees.

A total of 62,700 men married in Belarus in 2019, 43,400 of them tied the knot for the first time.

Average marriage age – 20-29 years.

The average age at first marriage – 28.3 years, at remarriage – 41.5 years.
