According to the 2019 census, there are 5.062 million women in the country (53.8% of the population).
The average age of Belarusian women is 43.1 years.
In 2019, 33,900 women gave birth to their first child;
33,600 women gave birth to their second child;
14,200 women gave birth to their third child;
5,900 women gave birth to their fourth or subsequent child;
1,056 women gave birth to twins;
14 women gave birth to triplets.

*The average age to have a baby keeps increasing in Belarus, like in many other European countries. In 2010-2019 this figure rose from 27.3 to 29.6 years.
