The fifth edition of the Minsk Half Marathon will be held in the Belarusian capital on 15 September. About 40,000 participants will include professional and amateur runners.
Races: 5.5km, 10.5km and 21.097km.
The start and finish lines are near the Minsk Palace of Sports. The route runs through Pobeditelei Avenue, Nezavisimosti Avenue, Masherova Avenue, Volodarskogo Street, Marx Street, Engels Street, Kommunisticheskaya Street, Storozhevskaya Street, Kuibysheva Street, Bogdanovicha Street, Yanka Kupala Street, Nezavisimosti Square and Pobedy Square.
9.00 – 21.097km race;
9.45 – 10.5m race;
12.30 – 5.5km race.
The Minsk Half Marathon was assigned the IAAF Silver Label in 2019. The prize pot is $60,000.
The event is organized by the Belarusian Athletics Federation under the auspices of the Sport and Tourism Ministry and the Minsk City Hall.
