In June 2020 Belarus' gold and foreign exchange reserves gained $916.4 million (11.6%)* to reach the equivalent of $8,795.7 million as of 1 July**.
Sources to replenish the reserves in June:
revenues from eurobond sale by the Finance Ministry;
higher prices for monetary gold.
In June, the government and the central bank honored external and internal commitments in foreign currencies to the tune of about $287 million

In line with the main monetary management guidelines for 2020 the volume of the international reserve assets is supposed to be at least $7.3 billion as of 1 January 2021 taking into account the external and internal commitments the government and the central bank will have to honor.
