FAI World Helicopter Championship

Minsk (Borovaya airfield) will host the 16th FAI World Helicopter Championship and Helicopter World Cup 2018 (4th Stage) on 23-29 July.

Participating countries:

Belarus - 7 crews

Russia - 13 crews

Ukraine - 4 crews

Poland - 6 crews

Germany - 2 crews

Austria - 2 crews

China - 2 crews

Events of the 16th FAI World Helicopter Championship:

24 July Tuesday

10:00-13:00 - precision flying

14:00-16:00 – fender rigging

17:00-18:00 - opening ceremony (Lipki airfield)

25 July Wednesday

10.00-18.00 – Navigation

26 July Thursday

10.00-12.00 – Slalom

28 July Saturday

18.00-19.00 – awards and closing ceremonies

Belarus placed second at the 15th FAI World Helicopter Championship in Poland.
