NUCLEAR POWER IN BELARUS AND WORLDWIDE
Early voting in the 2016 elections to the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus of the sixth convocation will run from 6 through 10 September. Citizens unable to vote in their precinct of residence on 11 September, Election Day, can take advantage of early voting.*
2016 early voting in Belarus:
from 10a.m. till 2p.m. and from 16p.m. till 19p.m. in the presence of at least two members of the election commission;
on getting a ballot, the voter shall sign the poll list and indicate the date of early voting;
in circumstances excluding control over the expression of his/her will the voter shall fill in the ballot paper and deposit it in a sealed ballot box.
Early voting is not allowed at polling stations located at:
health and recreation resorts,
holiday centers,
hospitals and other healthcare institutions providing in-patient care
6,018 polling stations will be set up for the elections to the House of Representatives of the National Assembly.
The poll lists include about 7 million citizens.
Election Day is 11 September 2016.
No official documents are required to confirm the reasons for the inability to come to the polls on election day.
