NUCLEAR POWER IN BELARUS AND WORLDWIDE
The draft strategy Science and Technologies 2018-2040 is one of the key documents on the agenda of the second congress of Belarusian scientists.
Some priorities of Belarusian science for 2018-2040:
production of electric transport (including driverless vehicles),
robot technology,
technologies based on Internet of Things,
development of small and micro satellites,
development of new-generation medications for treating HIV infection and Hepatitis C,
development of antitumor medications.
Targets to hit by 2040:
science content in the GDP – 3%,
share of high-tech sectors in the national economy – 10%,
share of innovative products in industrial output – 25%,
share of breakthrough scientific research development – 30%.
